Sauerkraut Salad
1 900g container Tancook Sauerkraut (drained)
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup vegetable oil

Grate and mix with first 4 ingredients:

1 medium onion
1 medium green pepper
1 cup celery
1 medium carrot

Pork chops (or Ribs) In Sauerkraut

1 900g Container Sauerkraut
1/2 cup packed brown sugar (optional)
1 Apple Chopped (optional)
1 Onion Chopped (optional)
2 Tablespoons spicy brown mustard (optional)
1 Teaspoon caraway seed (optional)
1/2 Teaspoon salt (optional)
1/4 Teaspoon pepper (optional)
4 Pork chops or rib portions


Place pork chops (or ribs) in roasting pan and bake in a oven at 350 for 30 minutes

In a dish Combine sauerkraut and remaining ingredients mix well

Remove roasting pan from the oven
Remove the pork chops ( or ribs) from the roasting pan,
Spread sauerkraut mixture In the pan, flip the pork chops ( or ribs) and place on top of sauerkraut
Bake for another 1 to 1 1/2 Hours
Traditionally served with mashed potatoes

* Cooking times and temperatures may vary depending on your oven
* Pork should always be cooked to an internal temperature of 71°C (160°F) at the thickest part of the meat
